Eduardo Cervantes studies art History at Instituto Cultural Cabanas from 1988-90 in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. A year after; he enrolls for a BA at ENAP-Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas-National School of Visual Arts in Mexico City from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1994. He is awarded a grant by FONCA-National Foundation for the Culture and the Arts in Mexico City. From 1994 to 1995, he is a cofounder member of “Corpus Callosum” an alternative space for non conventional mediums in the visual arts, based in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. From 1995 to 1996. He is granted by “The State foundation for the culture and the Arts” of Jalisco.From 1998 to 1999. He resides in Madrid, Spain and enrolls in the Open Sounds Program at the Circle Of fine Arts under the direction of Llorenz Barber and Julio Estrada. Also in the “20th Century Art and Wars” seminar at Sala Juan March, under the direction of Guillermo Solana. He is currently enrolled in the Artist in the Marketplace program at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, New york.


Eduardo Cervantes is a resident alien of the USA, as an "Alien with Extraordinary Abilities in the Arts". Lives and works in Brooklyn New York since 2000. His work belongs to some major contemporary art collections: The Tom Patchet Collection in Santa Monica, California, The Sprint PCS collection in Kansas City, The Jumex collection in Mexico City.
