Located in the recently renovated "Boiler Building",
Smack Mellon's gallery is an especially exciting space with
tremendous architectural elements. The 6,000 square foot gallery
boasts a ceiling that soars to 35 feet. There are 25 windows
on two levels providing beautiful light and a spectacular view
of Manhattan and the East River.

A built-in soundsystem, dimmable lights, a prep area with an
electric stove, sink and refrigerators for caterers.

Smack Mellon is just one subway stop from Manhattan with easy
access to the BQE, Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges and ample
parking in nearby garages. The building is handicap accessible.

The ability to rent Smack Mellon gallery
for a private 12-hour weekend event is a benefit of
being a Smack Mellon Member at the $5,000 Benefactor Level.
An additional rental fee will apply according to the day of
the week; Saturday $2,500 or Sunday $1,000.
The ability to rent Smack Mellon gallery
for a private 12-hour Friday event is a benefit of being a Smack Mellon Member at
the $4000 Sustainer Level. An additional $1,000 rental fee will
apply.
The ability to rent Smack Mellon gallery
for a private 12-hour weekday (Monday-Thursday) event is a benefit of being a Smack
Mellon Member at the $2,000 Associate Level. An additional rental
fee of $1,000 will apply.
This tax-deductible membership fee for the 12-month period including
the event date, provides the additional benefits of Membership.
The rental fee is for use of the gallery on any available day.
Included in the rental fee is use of the installed sound system,
dimmable track lights and a prep area located on the lower level.
For any time over the 12-hour rental period there is a $400/hour
overtime fee.
Smack Mellon can be viewed during regular exhibition hours,
Wed-Sun, 12-6pm.
