Through line, gesture, and color, she engages the body through touch, layering pigment with an urgency that reflects the tension between presence and absence. Grounded in the familiar, her palette draws from everyday substances and earthy tones, evoking both intimacy and impermanence.

Nour Malas (b. 1995) was born in Cannes, FR. After graduating with a BA in Fine Arts and Art History from Goldsmiths University, London in 2017, she received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), in 2022.
