Dennis RedMoon Darkeem creates sculptural work based on the familiar objects that he sees during his daily travels. Darkeem is inspired by elements in existing architecture and everyday items found within the home. He ultimately set out to express a meaningful story about events in his life and those found with the communities in which he works. Darkeem utilizes a wide breadth of materials and processes for the creation of elaborate multidisciplinary work. The versatility in the work allows the viewer to have a rich experience as the eye uncovers the multiple layers that often characterize mixed media art.
