For $250 you and your guest will attend the best Derby Party outside Louisville and you will bring home an original work of art. Guests bet on horses, which determines the order in which the artwork is selected. Betting window opens at 4pm and closes at 5:30pm.
Smack Mellon still needs your help to rebuild the Artist Studio Program. When Hurricane Sandy hit Dumbo, the lower level of Smack Mellon’s building took on 6 feet of floodwater, destroying everything including the artists’ studios, media lad, shop, kitchen, bathrooms and elevator.
